A BIT MORE ABOUT LINEN....... part 2
Helpfulness
eden_teuling 2297 reviews
Favorite thing: This Art of using linen (see my shopping tip) was prospering and again, in the first half of the 17th Century the real Breton linen Art was very sought after.
Influences from outside (times change....fashion changes...) tried to diminish this real Breton Art, mixed motives of flowers and forms of pure Celtic Style but to no avail: the art is still florishing e.g. also in Architecture, furniture and costumes till the end of the 17th Century when an artistic movement "Les Seiz Breur" gave a new life to the creativity of the Breton Art in every respect of the word!
Jeanne Malivel and Ren?-Yves Creston were the founders of this new Movement des Seiz Breur.
Linnen is a source of well-being. It is a living material, nice to feel and see, it dries quickly, doesn't attract dust and little things, does itself not have lose threats and has an enormous capacity of absorption.
It is very comforable to wear and is one of the answers of going back to nature and using what nature itself gives us.
It will never have a worn-out look!
