Blois station has no left luggage lockers (and the person whom we asked an attitude problem).

This is diffictult to understand -- the town is a perfect 3-4 hour stopoff on the way to or from Paris. And it's not exactly flat.

Blois is a nice town in the centre of the Loire. However while walking around the town centre watch where you tread. Blois has an appalling dog fouling problem.
Whereever you walk in the centre of Blois you will be very hard pushed to find a clean street.
