Streets around the cathedral full of charming timbered houses, most of that timbered houses become cafes, restaurants, shops. Walking around here it's nice to admiring all that houses.

Streets of the old Orleans, around the Cathedral, are lovely, with cafes and nice half timbered houses. Did I mention that I saw in France more half timbered house than in any other country?

Place du Martroi is where the statue of the Maid of Orleans is located. This is also the center of the old city, from here you can start the tour.
