This is a small cafe/bar in a town square near a language university. So, as you might expect, a lively nightlife is centred here at Place Plumereau. This area is known as, "le Vieux Tours" and with the view of the medieval half timbered buildings it's a perfect place for students of French history and language to hang out.
We stopped here for a nightcap after a nice dinner and the minimalist decor seemed to be about right to attract students in between class time. This place is usually flooded with students and teachers and a great place to meet people day or night.
However, the best thing about this place for me, was the fact that it was the only place in France that could serve me a Black Russian! Honestly, none of the other places I went to carried Kalua at all.
Dress Code: Stylishly casual.
The Plumereau Place is the alive center of the city, and Tours' most atmospheric quarter, and full of cafés.
