If you look at the web site for this chateau it looks amazing and looks like the kind of place you would love to spend a romanic weekend. Well I have looked around here and it is beautiful from the outside but very tired inside with drab walls and an almost eerie feel to it. They boast a jacuzzi suite which leaves a lot to be desired. It is very expensive to stay here and the only reason has to be the association with the Empress Sissi, Queen of Hungary. She stayed here for a while in 1875.
The chateau is about 20 minutes out of Fecamp.

Near the Palais Benedectine there is a nice example of modern house with a mix of eclettic and gothique flambuyant architecture.
