Terrain de Camping de Saint-Valery-en-Caux: Great Casino Views, Saint-Valéry-en-Caux

nickandchris Says:  We had this site earmarked, being not too far from Dieppe, where we were crossing the channel from the following day.We were extremely fortunate there was one encampment left and it seemed to be the best pitch with the best view. The site was tiered on the cliffside, up a...

Henri 1V Hotel: Impressive exterior

Henri 1V Hotel: Impressive exterior, Saint-Valéry-en-Caux

nhcram Says:  A small but, certainly impressive hotel from the outside. There about 18 rooms here and the one we had was clean if not simple in style. We never bothered with breakfast, as we preferred to walk into the town and enjoy a coffee and croissant at one of the bars near the...

pocketpiglet Says:  This campsite has great views, it's not pricey, the toilets were clean but we prefered to stay at Veules-les-Roses. It's open from mid-March to mid-November.

An OK place to eat.

Simple French fayre at this restaurant in the main square of the town. There were so many restaurants to choose from and this one did the job. Nothing fancy and very basic interior. The food was OK.

This is a fantastic place: great location right at the main square, the food is light and tasty (salads, quiches etc at meal times) and they also have a wonderful selection of teas and coffes, ice creams and cakes. The decoration is very pleasant, the music was super and the owner is ever so friendly. The place is completely non-smoking inside, which is very unusual in France, so smokers have to sit outside.

OPENING HOURS:
From 21 June to 21 September, they are open everyday from 11am to 8:30pm.

From 22 September to 20 June, they are open from 11am to 6:30pm (Tuesdays to Sundays) and serve meals at lunch time only.

Favorite Dish: I've tried so many things from the menu and enjoyed them all. The salmon cake was specially delicious, as well as the apple crumble (pictured). My husband had some quiches and many ice-creams and was extremely pleased too.
