    Part of what I like about travelling around Europe is the opportunity to touch on the history - the World Wars are a tragic part of our history but Ive found I tend to get a lot out of also being in these places where these 'International' events did happen.

    There are several plaques in the town that give placement and credit to the efforts of civilians and members of the military here during the 2nd World War.
