  • At Gare du Nord railway station you can keep your luggage for sometime at 3francs a day in 1982.An English girl had a time with the railway people becase there was none to explain it to her in English.She clung to her luggage and cried.I told her there was nothing to worry as the fee of 3Francs was for 24 hrs and if you exceed this at least by one hour you have to pay another 3Francs and so on.She had a sigh of relief and thanked me profusely.
