Located on the main square, the Place de la Libération, this restaurant / salon de thé is open every day for lunch and dinner until 10:00 pm. The menu offers traditional French options and has a nice wince list. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, offering suggestions when requested. There is outdoor seating in the summer months, but it would be wise to reserve ahead on a weekend night. We were here on a Saturday night at 9:00...every outside table was reserved ahead, but we had a table just inside the opened windows. Both servers (owners? manager?) we had that evening spoke English, which was a pleasant surprise!
I had duck breast with french fries. This is a typical dish, but what made this one special was the pepper sauce. It was fantastic! I'm so glad in France it's acceptable to clean your plate with bread, because that's just what I did! We each had an apéritif, salad, a plat and coffee. We shared a bottle of red and a cheese plate. Our bill came to 80 Euros.
