visit the Arc de Triomphe - located at the tip of Champs Elysees Boulevard where 12 avenues converge. Do take the elevators up to the roof top where you can enjoy a spectacular view of Paris! Napolean had a great plan only 15 years in power, this came to fruition after his death, what an amazing feat of architecture.
I breathe the Romantic Air on the top of Eiffel Tower, Look down the whole Romantic city, Paris was a dream come true for me... ...

Visit the Truimph Arch during the day and at night.
Located at the end of the avenue des Champs-Elysees, the beauiful arch is Napoleon's monument to his long-suffering troops, and symbolises freedom for the French. The arch also houses the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, with its Flame of Remembrance. Catch the moving ceremony conducted every evening at 6.30Pm when the flame is rekindled in commemoration of the millions who died on the battlefields. From the viewing platform on top of the Arch, you will be able to see the 12 avenues radiating from the Arch. This explains why it is also called place de l'Etoile, where Etoile means star in English. Leave a Comment

Make sure you climb to the top of the Arc de Triumph it not only gives a great view of Paris (including the Eiffel Tower) but you can also watch the cars on the roundabout below! It is scary to see those cars, buses and bikes driving around...they are totally MAD! :) I could have stayed there and watched them for hours, if we hadn't had so many other things to go and see... :) Leave a Comment

As decided so done. Now we are looking at L'Arc de Triomphe. You need to speek perfect in the local tongue - if you want relationship with the citizens of Paris. So everybody say 'L'ARC de TRIOMPHE' - no no NO - not good enough - once again - ..... nope .... forget it. You will never be able to speak and pronounce it so that you will be understood. Well, .. anyway one can spend the time in looking at all the fantastic buildings in Paris.
