Fondest memory: Forming like a husk of escargot.
Even if you stay in Paris for only a few days you must conquer at least from 1er(1st) to 10e(10th).
They have the principal tourist spots among there, like The Eiffel Tower, The Louvre Museum, The Arch of Triumph, etc...

Favorite thing: Paris is consisted of 20 districts numbered from 1 to 20. The first district is in the city center on the right riverside (North). Districts are placed in spiral around this one clockwise.
The following image shows the disposal of districts.

Favorite thing: don't forget to check out the outer districts, where the real people live, work, play, eat, and sleep. I found the immigrant neighborhood of Belleville especially vibrant and colorful, the face of France's future.

Fondest memory: Running around Paris in the middle of the night with crazy Parisian boys right as the sun comes up

Favorite thing: The parisian districts : 20
If you have an address and you don't know in wich district it is, don't worry. Look at the zip code. They are like this in Paris: 75001,75002, etc...
75 is the number of Paris and 001, 002, 003, etc.. is the district number.
Paris is in the middle of a big metropol. Don't forget that the official Paris limit is the part inside the ring ('périphérique' in french)
