This is one of my favorite english style pubs.
They make their own beer in this pub.
It's surely not the best place if you want to meet french people (lot of aericans and tourists) but really nice !!!!

One of the 4 Frog and princess bars ( english style ) situated in Paris. Surely the biggest one. As the other Frog and princess, you can drink their home made beers, eat dishes like hamburgers and watch sport events on big screen. And they have two small terrasses open during summer and spring.
A nice place for a drink in the Bercy village.
The Frog & Princess is one of three 'Frog-pubs' in Paris (one in Bordeaux and one in Toulouse too), and it's placed in the middle of the city, not far from the famous latin quarter..
Have only visited this place ones, during my wonderful summer holiday in 2003, but I'll be going back to for sure the next time I'm in town.
A nice pub/cafe/nightclub where they brew their own brand of beer right in the pub, and they have a bunch of different 'styles' to choose from.
In daytime you can go there to have a little something to eat, but at night it turns into a popular nightclub with a good choice of music.

Fiona & I went here because they had a 5-hour long "Happy Hour" and there is nowhere else that i could think of that offers Champagne Cocktails for a relatively cheap €4.50! :-) They do bar food as well, which we thought was a bit pricey. This bar is part of the Frog chain of pubs in France.

Frog baby! As I mentioned before, it's all about 'Frog and Princess' and 'Frog and Rosbif'. If you want a more 'clubby' place I'd reccomend either La Scala (true European rave) or Queen. Make sure you only go to Queen on Wednesday, becasue that's straight night. I had to be coaxed into going, but it ended up being a ridiculous good time. If you're into restaurant/lounge that's beaucoup l'argent ($$$$) go for Caberet (One friend got a pic w/ Mick Jagger there), Buddha Bar (One friend hung out with the Prince of Saudi Arabia), or Barrio Latino. Being male, my celebrity opportunities were somewhat diminished.
The Frog's are British owned and a lot of fun. Student night (25 FF beer and yes, that's cheap for Paris) is Tuesday at the Princess and Thursday at the Rosbif
Dress Code:
The frogs are pretty casual and the other two I mentioned are extremely dressy.
These Parisian-English pubs are very popular with students and brew their own ale. Even though they are not cheap by most standards, at least they are not a ripoff like most of the bars in Paris.
