Packing List, Paris
Luggage and bags:
Deciding what legal documents you need, what and how much to pack, how to handle money, what to do about the electrical current differences.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Tenis shoes are essential... You are going to walk more than You think...
Photo Equipment: I use to be with a Cannon EOS with a 30 mm and a zoom... but I recognize that the new cameras are easiest to work with... I always have 100, 200 and 400 to 800 asa films... but each one may know... the light may change... as the light in our lives... and in politics and economy ;)
Comfortable walking shoes are a must!
Photo Equipment: A lot of films are useful here!
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Something for rainy days is useful I would say...
Miscellaneous: Better take a dictionary with you, most French don´t like to speak other languages than French!
Rain is frequent,so be sure to carry some raingear(especially windcheaters or raincheaters which are more convenient than umbrellas)
Photo Equipment: whatever you carry, wherever you go,be sure to take good care of it!:)
Luggage and bags:
Backpacks are good .... for me at least.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: I went in December and it did rain so it is good if you bring your rain gear if you are going in the same period of time that i did.
Photo Equipment: Get a good camera!! Beautiful place such as Paris ... you will want to capture the beauty of it all with the right equipment. But if you are a student like me with only a auto-zoom camera, do not stinge on the quality of the film. I used Konica Film and i heard that Fuji film and paper sucks (my cousin said so) so maybe you will wanna avoid Fuji.
Am I to understand that I am to advice you on what to pack???? Never!
O.K. One piece of advice. Don't pack to try to dress like you're from Paris. You won't succeed hahaha
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: PARIS PLAGE: this summer, Paris has a beach. Take sunscreen, but also a coat, because it can get cold even in August...
Miscellaneous: All Disney gadgets are great and lovely, but so very expensive.( Just walk around in the beautiful little shops in Main Street.)
Luggage and bags: Anything you can buy in America you can buy in France. I took a backpack full of clothes for one month and I did great.
Luggage and bags: Nothing to pack, something to buy! :) Supposed to be night Paris behind me, the ship in all colours sailing .. oh well, poor camera, but use your imagination! :)
When you run out of paint, don't panic.
At St.Eustache you'll make sure others have done their best to save you the trouble.
Don't forget to take some PAINT with you.
Make Paris blossom with colours ;-)
