The Paris Beauvais Shop is located at 1 Boulevard Pershing, near the Porte Maillot Metro stop. When you come out of the Underground, go towards then past the large shopping/ civic centre ; the corner where the Beauvais Airport bus leaves is on your left and Paris BeauvaisShop on your right. Was a trick to find initially as I had flown into Bergerac. Buses are approximately hourly and you will beencourgaed to take the coach marked for your flight. The journey is more than an hour and your flight will be open, or ready to open, when you get there. What happens if there is an accedent, break down or gridlock , I don't know - the budgetairlines are never too accomodating ! I suggest you get the coach BEFORE the one advertised to be on the safe side
There is alink for the shuttle bus on the web site below

Flying out of CDG
While the building is beautiful, pretty much easy to get round, the airport does have one major flaw. It’s boring!
Since the general guideline for international travel is to be at the airport 3 hours before departure, this can cause some down time. With only a hand full of places to eat and even less shops, and no TVs , mini museums, or other activities. I would suggest bringing a good book and something to keep the kids entertained.
This was a major disappointment! I felt like I was in an over grown regional airport rather than a major international. Airport management should visit Schiphol, now that’s an airport you can spend hours at and actually enjoy the wait.

I love Air France. I have flown them twice, round trip from the US in the past 6 months and will be flying them 2 more times over the next couple of months. Past trips have all been in economy; one of the ones coming up will be in L'Espace Affaires (business) -- I can hardly wait!
In November I flew from Houston to Paris and back on Air France. They operate the Boeing 777 on this route. I was in economy class and was treated very well. The plane was clean and comfortable; the food and wine were very good -- for airline food; and the seat back entertainment was good. The people on the ground were ok -- not overly friendly but not rude or surly either. In the air, the cabin crew was excellent. In Paris, the ground personnel were anything but friendly, but alas, that is Paris. In Feb I flew round trip out of Los Angeles (LAX) on Boeing 747 equipment -- everything as good as the Houston trip except this 747 did not have personal seat back entertainment -- just the screens that have everyone watching the same thing at once -- this was only this way in economy and Air France is upgrading to individual seat back entertainment on these aircraft also. Also, this was not a problem on the way there as the movie was "Sideways" and was an excellent movie. The food was great and unlike most of the US flag carriers, the wine is still included at no extra charge!
I'll have to let you know how the Business class experience is in a few weeks. Air France has great low fares (check out Orbitz and airfrance.com for the lowest fares.) Some of their flights are Delta Airlines codeshare flights -- you'll have to pay for your wine on these flights. But anyone hesitating to try them -- I'd say go ahead -- you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Beauvais Airport is the main Paris airport that many budget European airlines fly into. Basically it looks like a cattle shed, but the fares are cheap and actually has all the amenities you need, resaurant/cafe, shop seating areas, souvenir shops (for those little extras).

If you are flying to Paris, chances are this is the airport you will land at. Personally I found it to be a dirty gruby airport, full of smoke and filth. Not something I would expect to see in Paris.
It is, however, easy to get from here into town. For a small price you can hop onto the RER train, wich is sort of an express metro.
Alternately, you could rent a care or get a taxi, be warned though, traffic in Paris is horrendous.

If people fly to Paris via CDG Airport, to visit a fair at Villepinte Fairground, they should obtain an early information about suitable public traffic conntections. At the airport no well visible signs can be found, to get to the right buses (afterwards one more change to the metro).

I flew from Dortmund to Paris in february 2005
EasyJet is a european low-cost-carrier. Is is a really new and friendly airline.
You can't reserve your seat so it like first comes first serves. In Dortmund they let you enter the airplane according to our check-inn number. If you wanna be the first on the plane try to check inn as early as possible (gate opens 2hrs prior to departure) to get a checki-inn number between 1 and 30. During your flight you can buy some food like sandwiches, drink, muffins etc.
From Paris to Dortmund at boarding they don't care when you checked in, everybody may enter the bus to the aircraft. But note! When the bus reaches the position of the aircraft they will just open the front door and and let about 10-20 passengers pass to wait until the are in the plane to let the next bunch enter.
All in all this airline is really nice and friendly, although the crew is also funny and nice!
I would fly again with EasyJet!

There are 2 airports: Charle de Gaulle and Orly. Charlle de Gaule has 2 terminals and it's one of the biggest in the world. I used both Charlle de Gaulle 2 (when I had flight from Moscow and back) and Charlle de Gaulle 1 (when I had a flight to Germany). You can go to the airport by RER, line B. Moreover TGV (speedy train) has a station in Terminal 2. From TGV station and RER station there are a lot of busses to the terminal you need.

My apologies to all French people, but Charles De Gaulle Airport is certainly not among the more impressive airports in the world. (Especially Terminal 1)
1. The staffs are not extremely helpful.
2. Facilities and shops are lacking.
3. They actually have passport control when you LEAVE! Once we are in, we feel like prisoners.
France is a beautiful and modern country, but unfortunately, CDG airport had remained stagnant throughout the years.

... you can fly into Paris. I've done this once and it was pretty uneventful as flights go. It was on British Airways from Heathrow to Charles de Gaulle airport. With more competition, it's a cheaper flight now than when I took it a few years ago! However, having tried the Eurostar, the train has the edge for me - definitely a less stressful experience.
Other airlines flying from the UK into Paris include BMI, Easyjet and (of course) Air France. There are sometimes particularly good deals on Easyjet if you book far enough in advance.
If your airline flies into Charles de Gaulle airport, so much the better - the RER rail line now runs there, taking you straight into central Paris.
