We came into this restaurant our first night in Paris. As my husband has celiac, I had to ask which dishes we could have without wheat/flour/gluten. The waiter was very helpful! We watched part of the European Cup game in the bar and had some fantastic wine, escargot and steak. What made this place so special was the extremely friendly wait staff, the wonderful food and the location (5th arrondissement). We wound up dining here another time for lunch (not realizing it was the same restaurant as we came in a different entrance) and had a wonderful salad with cheese and duck and other items. We had another waiter this time who was just as conversational and fantastic. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone with dietary special needs or to someone looking for excellent food with fantastic service. This restaurant is on Blvd. St. Germain right across from the Cluny Museum. RER/Metro stop Notre Dame/St. Michel
Favorite Dish: Our Escargot was not over cooked and not slimy. It had a wonderful basil/butter/garlic sauce. Our steak was perfectly cooked medium and very tender. Dinner was served with a wonderful Bordeaux. Our second trip my husband enjoyed a very hearty salad with duck and cheese and other assorted items (gluten free) and I enjoyed the very glutinous onion soup. Very satisfying.
