Taking a walk down the Champs Elysees...having bought a Loius Viutton bag, and feeling extremely rich and...'splurgy'?? Then, you sould walk into Le Fouquet's!
This place will make you feel the history and culture and the life of 'upper-class' Parisians. The ambience is very bourgeois and...you will pay every penny for that feeling ;) The service is great, and the waiters are very friendly. The coffee is good, but nothing exceptional..although they do give you some cute tiny cakes on the side that are tasty.
Favorite Dish: I had an onion soup there, and then an espresso afterwards..It was good, but then again nothing exceptional.
You'd want to go there for the experience and not the food..perhaps a coffee or a herbal infusion (that costs almost 8 euros!) at the most ;-)
