    Hard Rock Cafe: Hard Rock

    by nora_south_africa Updated Dec 3, 2010

The Hard Rock Cafe Paris offers more than just great food it is a museum of culture, with rock 'n' roll legends covering the walls, screens showing videos, and an unbelievable sound system. In the restaurant and bar all is done to give an American experience.

The Hard Rock Cafe Paris is centrally located next to the Opera and the Grands Boulevards, not far from famous places such as Musée Grévin, les Etoiles du Rex or the Theather of Varietes. Hard Rock Cafe Paris has American food and great music. There is also a retail store where you can purchase limited edition and collectible Hard Rock t-Shirts, jackets and souvenirs.

Hard Rock Cafe: We needed an American Food Fix

On our last day, we decided to go to the Hard Rock Cafe. Dave and I needed an American fix. We watched music videos and ate a good American dinner. Our son colored in his book practically the whole time

Hard rock cafe: American food and good music

I can hear from here how many people say "Oh no, why do they go to an American restaurant in France!". I tell you why: We were two weeks in Paris, so we did eat mostly at French restaurants, but sometimes we want to have something different. We don´t have many "real" American restaurants at Finland, only some hamburger places ( I don´t mean McDonalds ) so it´s something we don´t have in Finland. For example: We just love the potato skins, and I don´t know any place in Finland serving them. And o.k., we do like the music they play at many of these places. Allthough it seems like it changes from day to day. When we went for a beer and potato skins (yes, we only took them!!) at aftrenoon they had some boring pop playing, but some days later we came to eat here and it was around 22 o´clock and music was much closer what the name of the restaurant tells you :) We are quite a music lovers, so we also allways try to find if they do have anything from our favourites, like guitar from AC/DC, jacket of Metallica-member etc.
We ate twisted mac and cheese with chicken. I surely did miss the good steaks we had eaten at Fridays, but this was o.k. too. And little cheaper. Their steaks wasn´t sounding as good (why do they put jack Daniels to every one of them??). We also took potato skins as appetizer. I think we did drink beer there.

Favorite Dish: Potato skins! I just love them, and so does my husband. They were allmost even better here than at some other Hard rock cafes. i guess it was about the cheese.
I usually love the creme brulee (and after big meal, it´s nice to have it so small), but after eating many "real" creme brulees at French restaurants, this was nothing compared to them! Like you could guess!
I didn´t take the photo of the food, because place was so full, and sometimes I feel crazy taking photos of our food ;)

Hard Rock Cafe Paris: expensive American food in Paris

by MidgetPornstar Written May 5, 2011

I travel to HRC all over the world. The food is bad and expensive but the atmosphere is amazing. The bus system will drop you right off in front of the cafe. They have English speaking servers. Lots of stuff to look at but if you have traveled to Paris I don’t thing American food is what you should be eating.

Favorite Dish: Mac and Cheese or the Skins
