Highly recommended. Even though the interior of the restaurant is very beautiful L'Alsace interior I recommend eating out on the street/terrace on the Champs so you can watch the people go by while you enjoy their excellent food and good service. Hours: Open 24/7

Choucroute is the French word for sauerkraut, an Alsatian dish of sour cabbage topped off by as many varieties of sausage as you can find, and a few slabs of bacon scattered around. It is a speciality of the Maison d'Alsace on the Champs Elysees. An ordinary choucroute costs 18 euros, but the "Royal" variation comes with cabbage cooked in champagne and the addition of a goose leg preserved in fat. This one costs 24 euros - and of course the price doesn't include anything extra like wine or dessert. This might sound a lot, but in fact it's about average for the Champs Elysées! VERY nourishing! This Parisian institution located along the Champs Elysées is the capital city's embassy for Alsatian cuisine, and it's open a convenient 24/7. I loved the fact that they have outside seating - so you can actually dine on the Champs Elysee! The tromp-l'oeil decor (lots of red velvets and brass) boasts intricately carved mirrors and inlaid woods. The ambiance is as warm as can be, staff serving forth dishes from the region, and French classics besides. A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. The waiters are all dressed in white too- which adds to the ambiance.
Try the onion soup and the vanilla creme brulee. I also loved the quiche. Leave a Comment

Late diners and early risers sit side-by-side at this brasserie/bar/café on avenue des Champs-Elysées. Open 24 hours, la Maison de l'Alsace is a great option for a late dinner for those out clubbing, or an early breakfast for the jet lagged among us. This brasserie is part of la Maison de l'Alsace, an establishment in charge of promoting tourism to l'Alsace, the region in eastern France. The brasserie itself serves many specialties from the region along with typical French brasserie food.
