L'Os à Moelle: Bistro by real chef

This place is popular with the locals; young and professional crowd. It is small, around 10 tables. The menu offers little choice, Chef Thierry Faucher one of the young protégés of Christian Constant during his time at the kitchen at les Ambassadeurs (Hotel Crillon), prepares a different fixed price menu everyday, with two or three choices per course. Five courses, including dessert, plus an optional small cheese course (no supplement). €38
The cooking is always reliable, focusing on pristine ingredients. The sauces are intense but never overpowering.
One comes away pleased again and again.

Worth trying La Cave de L'Os à Moelle, a tiny wine bar extension of the restaurant with the same name. It is the type of place where you can drop in to share a bottle of wine with friends or you can call in for a delightful meal served at shared tables, holding about eight people.

    Bon Appetit

L'Os à Moelle: Eat cream of the cream food for almost nothing

This is a fabulous place. Imagine Hotel Crillon type of food (exquisite), without all the fuss of fancy restaurants. Open your eyes, you're at l'Os à Moelle!!

This place was created by a former cook at l'Hotel Crillon, one of the best restaurants/Hotels in Paris. He chose to open a restaurant outside of paris fancy touristy areas to keep price low. Another thing is that the menu is fixed, no choice, depending on what he found at the market in the morning. So the 6 course meal is set, but sometimes you have a choice of entrees or desserts, not always.

menu is 30 Euros per person (yes thirty!!) for a 6 course menu, in an unformal athmosphere. (wine is extra, of course).

Favorite Dish: There is also a bistro accross the street owned by the same person, but I have never been there. I heard it is even cheaper, and that all people sit at the same table.

Tell me what it's like if you do go there.
