La Souris Verte -' the green mouse!', Paris

This is a tiny little restaurant in traditional rustic French style with a great jazz atmosphere. We went back for our last night in Paris because of the food and because they treated us so fine. The prices are reasonable but the food is excellent! It's the kind of place where you can leave yourself in their hands - the specials really are special and the wines are sooo good! In September they have live jazz music, not when we were there unfortunately.

Favorite Dish: Four of us travelled together and we each had favourites. I recommend trying the French onion soup here before you open a can anywhere else and my husband recommends the desserts - something he never relished elsewhere except for Italian ice-cream!
