Le Cinq: Fine Dining at its Best

This restaurant, located within the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel, is one of Paris' best. A meal here, is certainly to be one of the highlights of your trip. A variety of pre-fixed menus are available as well as ala carte. Service is impeccable and the food outstanding. There is a very extensive wine list as well. What you pay here depends on the menu. But either way, prepare to spend at least 200 euros a person. Yes, this not only is one of the best dining experiences in paris, but also one of the most expensive. But it is 100% worth it.

Favorite Dish: I ordered the Light Taste Menu (Recommended). Dishes are seasonal. You get 3 appetizers followed by a main dish followed by 1 or 2 desserts. I had tender suckling pig. It was outstanding. In fact, all the dishes were.

Le Cinq: Great ambience and service

This is a michelin 3 star restaurant in the George V hotel. The interior is dazzling with wonderful chandeliers, decorations, flowers etc. It is a truly super experience, although one should prepare one's wallet - the price is high. Le Cinq is spacious and the table decorartions wonderful. The crockery, glassware and cutlery are first rate and sparkle on the perfectly set table. Choose the lunch menu for 80 euros if you want to reduce expenditure, but be aware that a glass of champagne to start will set you back 24 euros a glass. Also be aware that a cheese course is not included.

Favorite Dish: The dessert is a work of art

"Le Cinq" at Four Season Hotel.: One of the best restaurants in Paris

    by Sakura_Kobe Written Apr 28, 2003

My family took a luxurious lunch at Four Season Hotel. We dined at two-star restaurant "Le Cinq"there. This classy restaurant was marvellous. I was greatly impressed by the waiters' friendly and courteous manner. We had lunch taking as long as 4 hours!!! I am sure "Le Cinq" will be three-star restaurant soon.
