This restaurant situated near the Rue Mouffetard, the Mosquee of Paris and the "jardin des plantes" garden has a very peacefull atmosphere. The walls are white, with lots of plants and they serve only specialities made with homemade pastas. Be carrefull, 2 jardins des pates exist !! This one and the small one in Arago Boulevard, don't wait for your friends at the other one... ;-p

If you're in for some strange new foods, and don't mind ordering something you have no idea about, go here. The menu consists of about 10 pasta dishes, of different kinds of pasta (rye, barley, wheat, etc.), all with a different sauce. Half the dishes are vegetarian, we tried both a veg and a meat one, and they were both great.
There are two outlets, one at 33, Boulevard Arago, and one at 4, Rue Lacépède. We went to the latter.
Favorite Dish: I had the Wheat pasta with tomato, mozzarella and basil, which was great, my boyfriend had the rye pasta with cream and bacon (I think) sauce. He loved it, and he's not an easy one when it comes to food.

Close to the large Mosque and the Jardin des Plantes is a very cousy place to eat. Nice and friendly people serve delicious pastas, all made from the purest ingredients. Everything is grown organically and the pastas are not just made from wheat, but also from other kinds of cereals, like rice, buckwheat etc.
