I was the lone tourist in this neighborhood restaurant. The atmosphere definitely French casual. Flickering candles on each table, the main source of light, created an intimate dining room.
On the wall, beside each table, hung a chalkboard where the evening's fare was published.
This charming cafe offered, good service and a memorable meal.
A bit difficult to find--even for my French friends who were friends with the owner and they had eaten there before. It was tucked in a side street of 2e Arr’t.
An adventure just finding it.
Favorite Dish:
For Starters we ate Salad Petoncle--scallops. For the main course I had a Veal dish, it was quite good. This served with house white wine--as I am allergic to red. A chocolate mousse cake served for dessert. Naturally espresso, but not at the same time. It was an adventure getting ice for my water too!
