I've always wanted to pop into this Jewish bakery (open since 1946) which specializes in baked goods from eastern Europe and Russia. They bill themselves as la Boutique Jaune and it is hard to miss with its tell-tale yellow façade.
The service is wonderful. The lady who waited on me was very kind and patient, taking the time to help in selecting an item. Definitely a place I'll return to!
Open every day except for Tuesdays from 10am-7pm!

"I work at Jewish News of Greater Phoenix, and I just wrote a piece about Jewish
Paris in which I mention Sacha Finkelstajn. Any chance we might be able to use
the great photo you have up of the front of the store?"

Les Bagels, petites couronnes tressées semées de graines de pavot (Braided poppyseed bagel) - less than 1€

A complete offering of Jewish cuisine, sweet and savory, including breads, pastries (especially the strudel), and pickled herring. A good place to get something to take away and eat later.
