Shopping at a pharmacy in Paris is indeed an inexpensive & unique means of shopping. My second trip to Paris, my friend, Kristin, bought yummy, pretty Anne de Peraudel Violette soaps from the pharmacy while I ordered ice cream from Berthillon which is just around the corner.
This is usually the cheapest place you can buy Roger et Gallet soaps.
What to buy: Soap & Perfume
Last month, I returned to buy 2 Anne de Peraudel soaps - only 2.60euro each!
What to pay: very little

A small shop, with an ancient frontage.
What to buy: The best Paris ice creams are made by Berthillon.
You can buy a cone or a pot or a box (in this case, the ice is sold per liter).
In the area, there are several shops which sell ice creams Berthillon but the head office is on the picture.
You can identify easily the location of these shops : it is where there is a line.
What to pay: Sure, it is expensive and they are a bit rude at the main shop.

If you are a fan of ice cream, you must go here. The main shop is on a quiet street on the Ile St. Louis, and it is a wonderful walk to get there. A Parisian experience not to be missed.
