These shops are filled with the most attractive dishes, sweet and hearty, very colourful and oh, so fine!!
You can buy in the shops (there are 11 in Paris!!) or you can order for a special occasion .......
What to buy: depends on whatever you want to celebrate!
Have fantastic cakes when a friend comes over to have tea or coffee with you and have MENUS DE F?TES for days like CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR or BIRTHDAY and WEDDINGS......
In the picture: MENU GRANDE TRADITION (for Christmas)
What to pay: You can buy cheaper, smaller things but also complete dinners for a special party.....
Flo Prestige traiteur has now been purchased by Fauchon. The cakes in the top picture were taken in the window of their store near rue Cler.
Now the store is a Le Notre. And the windows are just as exquisite.
The fruit pies were from another patisserie, but just as delicious in their appearance! See the additional pictures for some other delicious Parisian pasteries.
What to buy: A slice of a cake for a snack perhaps -- or for a special occasion a whole cake.
What to pay: The smaller cakes were about 16 euro.
This is from the same shop as the shops mentioned in the tip above this.
Presumptuous shops that make you enter and buy at moments you didn't realize yourself you was in need of buying something...
What to buy: depends on the day, the occasion and.....your wallet or purse.....
In the picture: couronne de pommes amandes et soupe de mendiants...: pommes cuites au beurre, biscuits aux pignons et amandes, crémeux de confiture de lait et coque de chocolat blanc avec une soupe de mendiants au sirop vanillé which means:
apples cooked in butter. biscuits with pinetree seeds and almonds, creamy confiture of milk and white chocolate with a sauce of vanilla with figs, raisings and hazelnuts.
doesn't that sound great??
I make it myself, do try!! cheaper and yet a great dessert.....
What to pay: whatever you think you want to spend........isn't that a wise advice?????
