Visit 'L'Arc De triomphe' in the heart of Paris.I recommend going up to the top of it.The view is maginificant.
Walking and shopping at the Champs-Élysée
By the night it is getting more exciting. And you must take a look at the Arc de Triomphe.
Great shopping area where the L.V. located. And great side-walk cafe, sat there, enjoyed my coffee and view of Arc de Triumphe.
It's fun to try to run across the roadway to get to it. TOTALLY KIDDING people...I don't need to be sued. There is a tunnel that you can walk through to get to it.
The Arc de Triomphe, classic Paris, commemorates Napoleon's victory at the Battle of Austerlitz in 1805. It was completed in 1836.
visit the Arc de Triomphe - located at the tip of Champs Elysees Boulevard where 12 avenues converge. Do take the elevators up to the roof top where you can enjoy a spectacular view of Paris!
Go on top of it and watch the traffic on one of the craziest roundabouts there is. I heard that one guy once drove around it in circles for a few hours because he couldn't get out!!
I recommend you to go up in the Arc de Triomphe and have a great view from it over the city. Here you will feel like your the hub in a giant wheel which has 12 avenues as spokes.
Nothing better than a quick hike to the top (not for the faint of heart.) Beautiful view from the top and when you return to the bottom, great restaurants to revive yourself.
Arc De Triomphe
The 164 foot arch was planned by Napoleon to celebrate his military success. The Arch was completed in 1836, 15 years after Napoleon had died.
