    The Champs-Elys'es

The Champs-Elys'es is a very broad avenue, lined with interesting buildings and shops, and very crowded despite having very large sidewalks. Avenue is 2 km long and 70m wide.

Champs Elysees, from Place de la Concorde

I'd recommend taking the metro to the Arc de Triomphe, and then walking down the Champs Elysees towards Place de la Concorde and the Louvre. It's a beautiful walk.

    Les Champs Elysees

As dusk falls, the Champs Elysees is ablaze with light from the constant traffic - white lights on the left, red on the right and the glow of streetlights on both sides - it's spectacular.

    Champs Elysses

Champs Elysses would be the most popular street in Paris. It is home of the Arc de Triumphe and many expensive shops...but also some restaurants...

You may not be able to afford to shop here (I can't), but it makes for a nice stroll. Start at the Arc de Triomphe and end up at Place de la Concorde.

Walk along the Champs Elysees, and gawk at the crazy motorists making their way around the Arc de Triomphe. I met these nice fellow Filipinos on one of the benches fronting the Arc.

Strolling along the Avenue des Champs-Élysées.
From the Place de la Concorde, this 2km stretch of road leads up to the famous Arc de Triomphe.
