The most beautiful avenue in the world
The Champs-Elys'es is a very broad avenue, lined with interesting buildings and shops, and very crowded despite having very large sidewalks. Avenue is 2 km long and 70m wide.
Just in front of Louis Vuiton shop, just at the intersection with George V. Thats another nice corner: Bar Fly, Asian, Prince de Galle hotel...
Walk the Champs Elysees!
I'd recommend taking the metro to the Arc de Triomphe, and then walking down the Champs Elysees towards Place de la Concorde and the Louvre. It's a beautiful walk.

As dusk falls, the Champs Elysees is ablaze with light from the constant traffic - white lights on the left, red on the right and the glow of streetlights on both sides - it's spectacular.
Champs Elysses would be the most popular street in Paris. It is home of the Arc de Triumphe and many expensive shops...but also some restaurants...

You may not be able to afford to shop here (I can't), but it makes for a nice stroll. Start at the Arc de Triomphe and end up at Place de la Concorde.
