If you have enough time on your stay in Paris you must go and see disneyland Paris (see my transport tips for how to get there). Disneyland Paris has two parks the disneyland park and studio disney as well as disney village. All three are in walking distance of each other with disney village being full of shops, restrauants and pubs. The bigger of the two parks is disneyland park and it took us 2 and half days to get round the whole park first time I went. This park is split in five imaginary islands with each one set around a particular theme.

The other park studio disney is smaller and took us a full day 10-6 to get around and this showed you how cartoons are made and told you all about special effects and so on.

Both parks use rides and shows to entertain you with the disney village have many different theme park rides including roller coasters.

    Breakfast with the Disney characters

    by sparkieplug24 Updated Jun 11, 2006

The breakfast with the disney characters is extra but is well worth the money if you have children with you or not if you want to meet the characters I mean who needs kids. This is only available to people staying in the disney and disney associated hotels and transport is provided free of charge to the disney village/park for this (except davy crocket ranch). Price varies depending on time of year, offers available who you are booking through and so on. Also those staying in associated hotels always end up paying more than those in Disney hotels.

Disneyland Paris is almost exactly like Disneyland in California. They are laid out the same (the shops are even in the same spots!) so it almost feels like you are in California. There are a few rides missing in Paris, like Splash Mountain and Toon Town. But all the important rides are there. It is a must if you are a Disney fan or if you have kids.

    LET GO AND HAVE FUN!!

I love this place , i have an annual passport and have been 3 times, the holiday inn marne la valle is a good hotel to stay at , its cheap but great for families the staff are wonderful, and there is a free bus from hotel to park disney every 15 mins , when in disney go to the character tea, its brilliant for kids to get autographs and youll have fun too!
My advice is wear trainers and comfortable clothes , bring a water bottle and refill it in park and hire a buggy in park if you have kids with you, the buggies are only E6.50 for day and have a step on back for older children, try to avoid this park in very hot weather its a nightmare queing in the heat, make sure you go to billybobs in disney village at night, entertainment , music and kids rule there , its only E5 for kids meal and that includes drink and cookie for afters.

Here we are at the gates that go into Disneyland Park, Paris. We had arrived by train, (the Park has it's own train station).

It's best to carry a day carry-bag, which is not too heavy. You are not supposed to take food or drinks into the Park. We had plenty of water as it was really hot. We decided to visit Disneyland Park first, to get some rides done, and then venture across to the Walt Disney Studio Park

    Euro Disney Studio Tram Tour

by Jenniflower Updated Apr 18, 2006

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

The Studio Tram Tour is highly recommended! It take place in the Walt Disney Studios section of the Park, runs frequently and is very enjoyable.

There are actual props from movies plus they show you how they do special affects in the movies - we were calmly sitting in the tram... when suddenly there was a blast and the tanker near us caught alight! Water came gushing in from all sides of the tram in our mock scene...Yes, there was ALOT of water! They showed us how the hydraulics in a scene such as this work. It's amazing the lengths movie-makers go to to make a scene look realistic... thoroughly enjoyable :)

Please have a look at our travelogue about this specific tour - it's thoroughly enjoyable!

The magical Disneyland Resort ~ Paris

by Jenniflower Updated Apr 18, 2006

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

It's every child's dream to go to Disneyland. Mine became a reality as an adult and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

It is made up of Walt Disney Studios, Disneyland Park, Disney Village, Disney Golf and various hotels. We went for a day trip on the train from Paris, and spent most of the day in the Park and spent a couple of hours in the Studios.

We would definately go again, and would advise keeping one day for the Studios and one for the Park. Get into the queues for the rides as early as you ca, and get a Fast Pass if you can - you pay a bit more but you dont have to stand in terribly long queses that take up alot of your time. This is definately the better option for those with children!

You simply HAVE to meet Mickey Mouse & his friends

    by oRi_5 Written Mar 7, 2006

I simply can't not mention a visit to Disneyland Paris as I am a huge fan. I have been 4 times already and I love it even more each time. No matter how young or old you are you feel like a kid. And since my last visit I also found that it makes a difference who you go with, whether with your family, your friends or your loved one, its a whole different experience each and every time. The place is just so magical that you can't not smile and have fun. Definitely take comfortable walking shoes however because your feet are going to get VERY tired as you run all over the place (and wait in queues) to try and see as much of everything as possible!

My Favourite rides: Aerosmith - at the studios park (rollercoaster in the dark- brilliant!); Indiana Jones; Space Mountain; Pirates of the Caribbean

Favourite shows: In the studios - Cinemagique and Animagique. And the Christmas shows during that season in the main park.

    Disneyland and MGM

by doreenellen Updated Feb 27, 2006

For young and old the place you must visit is Eurodisney, Disneyland, Paris. The people were very helpful and kind to the children and they did their best to make your visit memorable. We rode almost all the rides, saw the parade both in Disneyland and MGM and went to as many shows as time allowed.
The disney characters where often around so the children could get photograhs and autographs, but the ones where you had to stand in line were much more organized I must say. The shops were tempting and the restaurants gave choice although expensive for the quality I am afraid. The Stunt show was spectactuler and gave everyone an insite to what happens in the movies with very experienced stuntmen in cars and motorcylcles. The winter wonderland ice show with the disney characters was excellent too. Some of the other shows were exciting and gave lots of information of how things are done in movie world. The Stage tour too was an insight into behind the scenes, passing cars and tanks etc used in the films, sets from the movies including tanker, catching fire followed by thousands of gallons of water falling down which gave everyone a shock.
The back tour passed also the costume departments, with narrated informatiion .

    The place for kids!

by pakistanibrain Written Dec 29, 2005

We didn't have any kids when we went to Eurodisney in Paris, but we had a lot of fun there nonetheless.

The moment you enter the place you become a kid yourself. It's really well made and a good place to spend a fun day.

From Paris city centre it takes you slightly more than an hour to get there by train. And the entry fee is quite expensive, but worth it if you like theme parks (when we went in 2004 it was 40 Euro per person).

Momma woke me up early and gleefully like a school boy on my first day of school vacation, we headed for that hour-long RER ride to Disney. I am not the usual avid Disney fan coz I always had this idea that Disney is only for kids, well, it's not after all.

Will probably take you the whole day or two to fully have that Disney experience, well, we stayed for half a day. I enjoyed it, though, I never dared taking those frightful rides even when I was a kid, not that am a chicken but I have this occassional vertigo and...Aaaaah! what the heck! do I really owe you an explanation?

It's Dineyland, no descriptions required. It's fun! For the whole family, and hey, don't miss watching the Tarzan show, it's spectacular! I guess Momma Mich never get tired watching it, for that one obvious reason that I have a slight idea... secret!

Disneyland park! what can I saw with this park :-) For all generation for sure, young, adult, old people, family, lovers could enjoy and relax together.

It consists of three main area: Parc Disneyland (Adventure land, Fantasy land and Discovery land), Parc Walt Disney Studios, Five Star Hotels-Clubs-Restaurants-MU Junior Clubs. But if you love kind of 'heart-attack" games like roller coster, you'll dissapointed because they don't have it!!

Ticket : €50 for both Parc enterance
