Street Artists, Paris

I've always found it kinda vain to get a self-portrait... I don't exactly want a pic of myself hanging in my room. Still... if that's your thing... there's a ton of pretty skilled artistes who can draw your pic for a few Euros. This is located near the Montemarte area...

Between Notre Dame and the St Louis Island, there are very often street artists and/or musicians to untertain tourists and earn a little bit money....When I was there, it was a swing/jazz band who sung in English... probably Americans ;-)

I took this pic of the Fire-eaters in Place de St Michel one Saturday night, but as always, a woman walked right into my field of vision, glared at me, and thats why you see her and not the guy blowing fire! :)

Be on the lookout for jugglers and street performers in well traveled tourist areas. The photo was taken on the Pont St. louis behind Notre Dame in the afternoon.

The side of the building contains vertical ridges. When approaching from the left or right the picture appears out of focus. As you walk by, the picture becomes centered and snaps into focus.

When the weather is nice, you can always find street artists displaying their talent. Either musically or as in this case....artistically. You can "donate" money if you wish or not.

Various festivals during different times of the year.. I have seen the humanity festival, it eas very interesting..
Lots of people from different cultures unite..
