by jeaniek13 The Metro. If you're in central Paris, you can walk around for hours--if you go to the outer arrondisments, then you'll have to get on the Metro. Or you could ride around in the small cars... Leave a Comment Theme: Other

TAKE THE METRO. But if you can find a bus it is much more open and great to city watch. Bus 82 is one that is good to see the Effiel Tower, Invalids, Garden Luxenburg. Leave a Comment Theme: Train

by CliffClaven The Paris Métro has spread its tentacles since Line No 1 opened between Porte de Vincennes and Porte Maillot in 1900. With 15 lines, 199 km (124 miles) of track, 368 stations, 3500 carriages and six million passengers a day, it is easily one of the world's biggest and most efficient underground railway systems. A single ticket costs 1.40 euros, but it is cheaper to buy a 'carnet' (packet of ten tickets) for 10.90 euros. One of the delights of riding the Paris Métro is descending through an Art Nouveau entrance to the station below.

by CliffClaven You don't need to have seen many films with Jean-Paul Belmondo or Jean Reno to realise that the French make Italian drivers seem like old ladies on their way to church. Stepping into a taxi in Paris is an experience akin to bungee-jumping over a shark-filled pool. Just shut your eyes, take the plunge and very soon - they don't hang about, you know - it'll be over. And if you think driving around the city is bad, just wait until you take a taxi to the airport and the driver finds some space to change lanes on the autoroute. Theme: Other

by Sarah97 Surely the Metro!!! In the map, you can see the famous spots near the station. French drivers are quite notorious, so best way to moving around is Subway, definitely. Leave a Comment Theme: Train

by la_beba This is the metro (subway) tunnel entrance on the Ile de la Cité. The Metro is the best way to get around this large city, and it is reasonably priced: $14 for a week pass. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

by Pierre_Rouss PARKING, the unsoluble problem. Don't pick a car upon arrival in Paris. If you plan to spend a few days in Paris, only pick it on your last day because parking is so difficult. Every other car in Paris is dinted, Parisian park either by sound or by impact. What better way to know you can't move further than a nice big 'punk'.Why not park sideway if you can!!!! by Pierre_Rouss The metro and RER You just don't need a car to get around Paris. The metro, bus and RER transit system is so extensive that you usually have 2-3 different ways to get from A to B. Very clean, very safe. Leave a Comment Theme: Subway/Metro

Traffic of L'etoile by sabsi The traffic is crazy and so is the parking!! If you are coming by car - try and find a hotel with a cheap or free car park, otherwise you'll spend a fortune for parking! Leave a Comment Theme: Train
