Orly Airport, Paris
There are a number of ways of getting from Paris’ two airports to the City.
Taxi, Shuttle, and the RER all have different advantages.
A taxi ride to the city from Orly will cost from 30 to 45 Euro, depending on the location in Paris and traffic, while from Roissy it will be a little more, from 35 to 55.
There are regular shuttle services from both airports to the city.
The Roissybus goes to Opéra in the North of Paris and costs 8.40 Euro, and the Orlybus, at 5.80 Euro, will drop you off in Denfert-Rochereau, in the South of Paris.
Both these locations are major landmarks with easy access to the Metro and various bus lines.
You can take the RER from Roissy directly from the terminal and it will cost 8 euro to get to any metro or RER stop within the city limits.
From Orly there is the "Orlyval train" to get you to the RER and into Paris, costing a total of 9 Euro to get anywhere in the city.
Check the website below for more detailed and excellent information.
When we inquired at the airport about getting into central Paris from Orly airport, they suggested the best way to get to our hotel in the 5th Arr. was taking the Orly Bus to Denfert-Rochereau where we got the metro to our hotel, the cost was 6.90€ for the bus and 1.25€ for the metro by buying a carnet of 10 tickets for the metro. The bus runs every 15-20 minutes and takes 20-30 minutes to get to Denfert-Rochereau. We bought our tickets at the information booth inside the airport, along with our museum passes, there is a bus stop just for the Orly Bus that is very well marked. Validate the ticket when you get on the bus.
Other options, including the RER, Les Cars Air France bus and regular buses, to get from Orly to Paris can be seen here. The regular bus takes longer but is cheaper, the RER is more expensive and wouldn't have been any quicker as you have to take the ORLYVAL light train to get to the RER.
ORLYVAL is a automatic (driverless) metro line that links the Orly airport and the RER station "Anthony", from there you have an access to the RER network which will join to the metro network in some next stations.
it takes approximately 35 minutes between Orly/Châtelet and 45 minutes between Orly/Charles de Gaulle Etoile.
It cost about 9 euro.
It's easy a cheaper way to go to Paris.
They charged me 9,05 Euro from airport Orly to Paris downtown.
Since I was staying in Crèteil I figured out that you can save some money to go from here and away, you just need time.
You go with the Metro 7 to Porte de Choisy. From there you take Bus 183(attention, not all go to Airport). You have to buy two tickets à 1,40 Euro. Ideally you still have a daycard or carte d'orange.
Time from Porte de Choisy is about 50 minutes, so you might prefer to spend more Euros to be quicker.;-)
Well Orly again is not Paris, even if call Aeroport de Paris. Orly is in dept 94 Val de Marne in the region of Ile de France ,another jurisdiction from Paris.
You need to get to Orly and then Paris ;no problem/ There is a great metamorphosis going on at Orly. The idea of renovations from now to 2018 is to eventually make just one terminal (now there are two with four hallways). The two terminals call Sud(south) and Ouest(west), will have a welcome hall increase to 80 000 m2, or the equivalent of 160 football fields ! From now to 2015, when the new international terminal at Sud or south terminal will be done, you will have a new departure gate hall of 20 000 m2 that will be built east of the airport terminals today bringing to a total of 100 000 m2 the space for passengers. I just went by there and its awesome airy more space ,nicer stores and restos quicker service, grand ,its Paris.

South of Paris there is the second biggest airport of the city: Orly Airport. This is the busiest airport for national flights, and the second one in France according to the total number of departures.
The airport has two terminals. Orly-Sud is the one where mostly intercontinental flights depart: to the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East and North-America. Orly-West has mostly national and some continental departures. These two terminals are connected by the OrlyVAL, a metroline that runs every few minutes and that also connects with the RER-line.
This RER-line is the fastest connection to the city-centre. Take line B to go to the centre, or to go to the other airport: Charles-de-Gaulle. A trip to the centre takes about 35 minutes. Another way to get to the centre is by taking the Orlybus, that goes directly to Denfert-Rochereau, a square in the south of the centre.
There are no TGV-connections directly to Orly. You'll have to take the RER/Metro to get to the nearest trainstation.
Orly airport is located just outside of Paris (19 or so kilometers) and handles both discount and regular airlines. The airport is fully featured and modern. The easiest way to get there is to take a cab but only during non-traffic periods. Otherwise you will spend a small fortune. However if you don't care since you have so many bags - well, so be it.
Alternatively, you can take the Orlyval metro from Orly (a dedicated metro line that only goes between the Airport and the RER station at Arceuil called "Antony". From here take RER B (cost is about 4-5 euros iirc) and ride it for about half an hour to Chatelet Les Halles. This is the metro station Arrondissement 1 - so right downtown Paris. From here catch whatever line you need to get to your final destination. Since you are going from Train to Metro, you will have to buy a metro ticket (1.30 euros).
