Getting around Paris is a snap.. my husband and i flew into Paris from two diff. parts of the world to meet there... Once there we found a cute (small) hotel the lousanne it was in the city and was near the opera dist. we did ride the tube and lets face it Paris is a town you can walk around..I mapped out the city on mapqwest and enlarged it... for bed time reading and game planning... you can devide the city into chunks of time depending how many days you have to stay we had 7... then onward to londen for 7 more...
The sean river in Paris offer boat rides that were $6 farry type.. that are narrated and very informative..youcan take these during the day and at night..it does rain there however we were there during a very hot spellin may. I love Paris and it felt right for me to be there..many people have said Paris itself isnt very clean..however i approached it another way... Paris is "very old" many people equate clean as "new".Find you a artist whom you genuinely like there work..bring home a little of Paris with you...Paintings of all the favorite..Le tour eiffel..noter dam..the louver and all from the sean river.. We were able to purchase oils..chalk..and charcole paintings for around $25 piece..only because the artist truly relised we took a genuine interest in there work..I am a designer.. i thrive to go back to Paris...the old days that went by there becken me back..and is there oh so much more to see.. let me know if i can answer any questions.
