 | Puteaux Restaurants | Tips 1 - 4 of 4 | | Popular Restaurants | Miscellaneous Restaurants Tips | All Tips (4) Im usually quite critical when it comes to food as I believe, food is art and if its bad you need to be able to express yourself. Restaurants are not just about food however, this particular one is terrible in its service. The head waiter/manager was quite rude and refused to speak to us when we asked him if it was halal. He originally stated it was but later changed his mind.
We didnt eat here but thought to warn other tourists about this place. Leave a Comment Theme: IndianPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: Puteaux |
This popular restaurant is in the centre of Puteaux. It offers a wide selection of meals and is very reasonably priced. I prefer the seafood here. We visited this restaurant 3 times, the service was great and the food was amazing. The harissa sauce these guys make is mind blowing. A mixture of hot french mustard and red chillies with tomato sauce. Extremely cheap and nice relaxed environment.
Many favourites here - hard to say which one! Leave a Comment Theme: Kosher/HalalPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: least expensiveAddress: Jaunes Jarres, Puteaux. |
What is a "traiteur"? It's the French word for "delicatessen" and this Chinese deli in Puteaux is a great place to get some delicious food. Of course the only problem is that, as an exclusive take-away restaurant, there is no dining area where you can sit down and enjoy your meal. You'll have to either take it back to your hotel room or go around the corner to Place de l'Hotel-de-Ville, where you'll find a park bench for your picnic. There is a variety of Chinese dim sum here along with a selection of different entrees. You could just order some dim sum and eat it standing there after the friendly Chinese staff warms it up in their microwave. They also have a good selection of cold drinks.
Dim sum is sold individually, so you can order various dumplings and other items that just pop into your mouth. I like the oval-shaped fried crab concoction with an actual claw sticking out. You simply pick it up by the claw and the rest slides into your mouth as you're left with the little pincer between your finger and thumb. I've actually seen this item before at Chinese buffet restaurants in America, where I've been known to eat more than a few. The two entrees I selected were Singapore style rice noodles with beef and broccoli. Some menu items change from day to day but it's all good so you can't really go wrong with anything you order. Bon appétit!
