C'est un bon endroit, surtout par beau temps, pour un lunch dans le Parc de Versailles. Cette Brasserie Restaurant est située au début du Grand Canal à l'endroit où se louent les barques c'est-à-dire à mi-chemin du trajet d'une demi-heure entre le Château et le Domaine du Trianon. Comme celui-ci ne s'ouvre qu'à 12 h c'est une halte idéale où l'on sert de la petite restauration aussi bien que des plats et menus consistants. On mange en terrasse ou à l'intérieur.
Les prix sont corrects, par exemple 9 € pour une pizza. Il m'a cependant semblé que le verre de vin "tulipe" ne devait pas atteindre les 15 cl annoncés sur la carte. Carafe d'eau gratuite comme obligatoire en France. Service correct et efficient.

It is a good place, especially by nice weather, for a lunch in the Park of Versailles.
This Brasserie Restaurant is located at the beginning of the Grand Canal at the spot where the rowing boats can be hired. The name La Flotille is consequently well adapted.
This restaurant is halfway between the Chateau and Trianon. As the Domaine de Trianon does not open before 12 hour it is an ideal stop for a light lunch or a more consistent menu. One can eat inside as well as on the terrace.
The prices are correct, for example 9 € for a pizza. It however seemed to me that the glass wine called “tulipe” did not reach the 15 cl as announced. Free carafe tap water like obligatory in France. for more than 30 yrs still with a very best breton ambiance in town ! the walls decorated with little lighthouses and corner bars like a shape of a boat. very good ambiance, friendly ,relax, convival, a must in town. One of the rare ones outside my quartiers, this one is in the Saint Louis quartier or neighborhood

the folks from the Theatre Montansier frequented it always. the plaques of automobiles showing the famous route 66 in the USA west are everywhere. lots of tex mex with a good pecan pie !!)

decoratoin brasserie from the 1930's with lots of mirrors and carnations, traditional cuisine with lots of beef, yeah!
you can rent a room for about 35 persons with video presentations and dinner !! yes i did with my US university.

carré d'agneau roti aux herbes, something like slack of lamb roasted in spices (sp?)
for dessert, créme brulée aux pruneaux= sort like catalan cream vanilla dessert with prunes

one of the must in addresses in Versailles for years ...., nice bucket seating,cozy ,romantic, with a funny parrot that talks,traditional cuisine, with visits to very old recipes of France.
very good ambiance ,the food is of yesteryears quality ==excellent.
