    Honeys

by JLBG Updated Oct 6, 2004

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite thing: There are a great many different plants in the surrounding. That allows to select many different honeys, from different flowers. The beekeeper has to collect honey each time there is species of plant that has ended blooming, and before another blooms.

    Fondest memory: Sunny honey !

    Old chapel, new garage

by JLBG Updated Oct 6, 2004

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite thing: An old chapel has been turned to a garage. The owners had the wise idea to keep the general structure of the chapel unaltered. This mixture of religious and garage gives a strange feeling but I like it !

Fondest memory: A blessed garage !

    Vaulted passage

by JLBG Updated Oct 6, 2004

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite thing: A vaulted passage in the city of Anduze. It leads to an inner garden, far away from the street. It gives a pleasant contrast between the busy street and this small, calm and well protected garden.

When I visit a city, I have always a look on sideways. I feel that they are more revealing than the main ways !

Fondest memory: How peaceful it is !

    Tour de l'horloge

by JLBG Updated Oct 6, 2004

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite thing: The ''Tour de l'horloge'' was built in 1320. It shares the same characteristics as the tower built in the middle of Aigues-Mortes city walls, with the bell on top of the tower, but hold by a metal framework that makes a kind of cage.

    Ancient house, now a bank

by JLBG Updated Oct 6, 2004

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite thing: This ''hôtel particulier'' of a wealthy family of Anduze is in good condition. It is now a bank ! I have not found any information neither about the building of this ''hôtel particulier'', the period it was built and the name of its previous owners.
