Travelling around Beziers and to our accomodation in Cazouls-Les-Beziers proved somewhat nightmarish on my trip. Relying solely on bus transport we were forced to work the length and breadth of the city centre (through parks, side streeets underpasses!) to get to the bus stop, only to find that you can not buy bus tickets ON the bus, only at newsagents.
Such newsagents are 'conveniently' found a considerable distance from the bus stops (a.k.a basically a bus ride away).
Another warning, travelling around 3-4 ish will see you on buses full of school children, basically school coaches really. Our trip included a rather irate French teacher yelling at the children to be quiet, not make mess or he would kill someone! The kids were also not that friendly or accomodating to us!
Just be prepared!
