Narbonne-Plage Things to Do

  • by AJJ0001 Updated Nov 22, 2006

Lovely sandy beach, ideal for sand-castles, gently sloping sea bed, ideal for youngsters. Lots of things to do directly in front of the town, or a little further along the beach. Pedalos, jet-skis, wind surfing, dinghy sailing, sand yachting, quad bikes, crazy golf, horse riding, cycling and (new in 2006) helicopter rides!

All great fun in a very laid back way.

Small resort, with a reasonable selection of restaurants and mainly self-catering villas.

There are around a dozen vineyards withn 15 minutes of the centre of town and a very good African Safari park about 30 minutes way in Sigean.

Narbonne-Plage Restaurants

  • by AJJ0001 Written Nov 22, 2006

Lots of small restaurants and bars within the town providing pizz, pastas and sea food. Go to the Chateau Hospitalet a little further in land for a luxury cuisine in one of their two restauarants (not suitable for toddlers), or into one of many smaller establisments in the small surrounding villages
