We only ordered the pizza. It was magnifique. I am not quite sure how they get their tomatoes so tasty, but they they were the best. We ordered three pizzas for three people;one too many. I made pizzas for over 10years and this was the best single bite of pizza I have ever eaten. The decor and ambience was very modern and fairly masculine. I found the prices very fair, about 10eu for a pizza.
Favorite Dish: La Dolce Vita. Oil, garlic, tomatoes, and prosciutto....heaven.

My first impression of this restaurant was good. I liked the decor and the waiter was very nice. The appetizer started out not so well however. We ordered the "Toblerone" foil gras and I should have paid more attention to the name. Liver and chocolate do not blend very well in my opinion. The main course was magnifique! I had duck with mushrooms and a mashed potato with beef purée. My wife had stuffed sole over some sort of leek or spinach panna cota? The wine was good and priced fairly? Dessert was also very yummy.
Favorite Dish: The duck with mushrooms.

Set in the little Place aux Herbes opposite the cathedral, this bar/cafe impressed me with the cheeriness and courtesy of its staff.
They serve all the usual bar/cafe drinks and snacks, of course, including draught beer (beer a la pression).
It was very busy with locals whenever I walked past, which is always a good sign.

Part of a chain, but the food is good.
A selection of sandwiches/panini/baguettes, hot or cold, good standard and interesting fillings. Good coffee, juices, some patisserie too. Pleasant young staff.
It's self-service: you order at the counter and take your tray of goodies to the tables outside.
Set in a busy square which is ideal for people-watching, it's a good place for a sit-down, coffee and bite to eat.

I have never been to an 'Irish pub', apart from in Ireland. I really shouldn't have given in, but it was very near my hotel and I was exhausted.
It seems a popular place with locals: certainly there were plenty of them there when I walked past each evening.
The Guinness was fine too. Mind you, I'm not sure how half a 5.20 euro pint worked out at 3.10 euro. Especially as they 'maintain the Irish ambiance' by getting you to order at the bar (no excuse for service charge). I think they saw me coming. Service was somewhat disinterested.
Anyway, the food I ordered was ok: the smoked salmon was their own (if my translation is correct) and very tasty. Sadly, the anchovy & cheese (I think) sauce over the pasta was extremely salty, and so I wasn't able to eat much.
There are a variety of set menus, with appropriate Irish names: Kilkenny (mine), Shannon and so on.
If you want a decent Guinness, this place is fine.
Aparently they have live music too.

This is ace if your on a budget its central to the main square, clean and cheap with no tipping required! You just take a tray and select from the food on display and staff will take a portion of what you order and stick it in a microwave for you, we had about 10 small starters two main courses, crackers and half a bottle of wine for 29 euros!. We had lunch at La Flambee, a small Creperie on Rue Fresque, between the Arena and Maison Carree. This place had been recommended by Lonely Planet and it was reasonably good value. We both had the lunchtime menu of two crepes and a cider for about 10 Euro.
