After visiting a bar, I had informed myself with the manager for a good address. And we followed his counsel.
The poeple were very nice, the service quick , the food excellent . The wine was from good quality.
The framework recalled the years 50 and mustered many era objects.
The price was, opinion of all, justified by the good quality.

Favorite Dish: Several formulas are proposed, with or without entries, with or without desserts.
The toast to the tails of shrimps, the combination rabbit and fish or the fish sauce watercress in to delights more of one. And the outfitted cake of ice to the dessert crowned a meal of the most successful one.
Come and ask Christophe, The boss what he can do for you, maybe one of his formula or the day dish, and ask him for advice about his wine card... You will never regret. This restaurant is perferct for one , for couple is so romantic or more over...
Favorite Dish: A big choice for wine, and if you don't know french wine , don't hesitate to ask the boss Christophe.
The Perigord region has lots of farm hosted supper, featuring all sort of regional food.
Favorite Dish: Try at least as hors d'oeuvre some foie gras.
The goose foie gras is almost yellow and it melts in your mouth, the duck foie gras is pinkier and stronger tasting (I am converted to duck foie gras now, I think).
Main course with game, foie gras sauce, also with walnuts that is a local speciality too.
The restaurant is nicely decorated and the food seems cheap because it is so good.
Favorite Dish: I chose a menu (22,5 euros) and it is worth every cent of it. Actually, I thought it was pretty cheap for what I ate (maybe I tend to compare the price with Paris !)
The salade de gesiers was very good. The gesiers (I'm sorry, my dictionnary translates it as 'guts' but I'm not sure about it) were very tender and warm.
I then had a sirloin steack (a very large portion).
My mom tried the seafood rissotto and it was also delicious (only 12 euros !!!)
This restaurant is situated right in front of Les Escales du Palais. We didn't try it but we had a look at their menu and it looked good and not expensive.
