Une Petite Faim: Home cooking in Eymoutiers
We stumbled across this restaurant when looking for lunch in this lovely, isolated town near to Lac de Vassiviere. There was a sign opposite the library and the restaurant looks just like what it is: someone opening up their living room with 5 tables and home cooking. The chef/proprietress was lovely and very talented. We ate a delicious lunchtime menu with two options for each course and all of it extremely tasty. This is not fancy cooking, it's good home cooking using top quality local ingredients that were freshest in the market on the day.Can't remember what we paid but we felt it was very good value.
