The Sainte Barbe church from Crusnes was built in 1938-1939 by the architects Claude Robbe and Alphonse Fenaux.
All the materials used to build the church are coming from the lorraine steel basin.
The project was cancelled due to World War 2. The church at Crusnes became therefore the only one all iron chruch ever built.
.
The church has been added to the "Monuments Historiques" list in 1990.
