In summer, you can rent bikes (but also a tandem:-)) in two places, next to the train station and along the river, close to the little 'chalet' type bar there.
The tourist office organizes bike tours, but you can also buy a map there at a small price. You can bike around town, but also to Schengen in Luxembourg. From here you can also continue much further into Luxembourg, or Germany.

Favorite thing: Really a nice little town on the Moselle River, which runs through Germany also. It was very clean, and had alot of people using the water while I was there.
Fondest memory: It was quite a change from Paris, where practically everyone knows some English, to being in a place where practically no one knew any. Made for feeling like you really were far from home...
