The upscale restaurant is in the lobby of the hotel across from the check in desk. My with and I were tired since we had been up for about 36 hours so we decided to treat ourselves to a nice meal. We were not dressed up at all just slacks and a shirt but that was no problem there was only 4 other people in the restaurant. The interior was very oldschool with some deer heads and had a very old world french hunting chateau feel. The waiter was very nice, we both got the prix fix menu for 45 euro's each and it was very good. We left with homemade suckers for our son back in the states and a very satisfied feel. With wine the meal was about $260 us.
Favorite Dish: The dessert was great along with the fish.
Although I have no address or photo, I distinctly remember that there is a simple restaurant on the area of the war memorial/war cemetery as described in my Things to Do tips.
So you don't need to worry about not bringing food and drink.
Traditional French food in a traditional interior decoration... No surprise: it's rather good, it's quite expensive... Correct price for value: on the average for the category.
Favorite Dish: Traditional French food.
Surprising place. The most part of the furniture has been made in iron by the "boss", who is also the cooker. Not always a tasteful decoration. Sometimes a bit funny...
Average price for its category. "Menu du jour": 14€.
Also HOTEL: Bedrooms 43€ for 2 persons. Breakfast 6€.
Favorite Dish: Pork ("Suckling pig"), Frogs, Game.
