Ax-les-Thermes Travel Guide

The day I stopped off in Ax there was a small market in the town square. Apparently the market is there on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 8am to 1pm from June to September. If you are lucky enough to find yourself in the town on the day that it takes place then this is the place to get yourself some lovely french pastries and sweets. There are a number of stalls selling such items and many of the stall holders are keen to get you to try their goods. The problem comes when you realise that you want to buy them all! There was also a great stall selling fresh coffee which they weighed out into the bags there and then at request. This was fantastic coffee.
