Well, what else to do here than ski, ski, ski! All day long, hit the slopes, enjoy a drink on the sunny terraces and get a lovely suntan!

La Plagne Shopping

Worried you don't have a nice scarf? Nice hat? Or do you need a completely new gear, including new skies, snowboard? Well, if so, pack light and get your stuff here! There's probably more sporting goods shops here than restaurants and cafes, and there's plenty of those too ;)

They have everything you'd need, especially when it comes to clothing. I bought some nice gloves and a new hat. Didn't see a Burton store though, so if you're as picky about your snowboarding gear as I am, don't expect to buy your new board here ;)

Still, it's a great place to buy clothing. Plagne Centre has a lot of stores.

What to pay: About the same as the rest of Europe.

Only trying it on.. honestly, I didn't buy it ;)

La Plagne Warnings and Dangers

Do keep in mind you're skiing in France.. and you might or might not be aware of, it's a pricey place, them Alps! Pints of beer go for 6 euros, so try to find the right bars for the happy hours, which usually means half price or two for one deals. Belle Plagne was the place we hit for apres-ski, with a number of nice bars with live music. And rowdy Englishmen ;)

Two for one :) One being me.
