Le Bouchon is my favourites restaurants in Tolulouse because has a nice ambient, you feel at home..with a good red wine and the good food of the country..the soupe is normally free, the you can eat the plats of the day...waitress are nice and friendly and the prices are good.
You have to taste the reat variety of 'patè', the bouillabaisse, la saucisse de Toulouse, cheese and try to find in Place salengro, in the centre a special 'patisserie' they have the best cakes in Toulouse! very friendly, fast service,cozy place at place victor hugo, the food was delicious, and nicely presented. I think the conviviality of the place together with the food is what give this place, with a sister property in Paris.
the black pork of bigorre, le porc noir de bigorre,simply the best, and i know pork. it comes from the variety of porks freely raised on the valleys; you need to visit either in Paris or Toulouse, with toulouse being the original at pl victor hugo.
