I was in Toulouse last week and found this fantastic coffee shop on Rue Jean Suau. It's called L'appart and you actually feel like you are sitting in your own appartment drinking coffee with your friends! The Owners Chris and Emilie treat you as though you are old friends and are more than willing to help you plan your time in Toulouse, both english and french are spoken. Their drinks menu is extensive from regular coffees to house specialities, bespoke smoothies and a vast selection of homemade cakes, cookies, soups and sandwiches. Their raspberry cheesecake is to die for! A brilliant place to go and chill out with friends and they are looking to eventually include wireless and games. Definately worth dropping by and saying hello!
The raspberry cheesecake - it just melts in your mouth and tastes so good! Great for dessert as well! Or the chocolate cookies have a special place in my heart! Having lived in Toulouse for two months and samples crepes and galettes all over town, nothing compares with La Regalette. Their creative use of the basic crepe is inspiring. These paper-thin crepes become the lining of a plate for a delicious salad or the wrap for a more traditional crepe. One of our visits revealed the crepe as a sort of quiche-like crust for a savory crumble with tomatoes, olives, anchovies, olives and onions. It has become a place we visit weekly in hopes of working through the entire menu.
Thus far, my favorite dish was the Galette Toulousian. It was a crepe filled with sausage, carmelized onions in a sauce of creme fraiche. My wife is more partial to the salads, which include delicious chicken livers, tomatoes, walnuts and lettuce with a mustard vinegarette dressing. All very reasonably priced Leave a Comment Theme: FrenchPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than averageAddress: 31 Rue d'Embarthe, Place Arnaud BernardPhone: 05-61-21-81-93Directions: University district

When I ate here I had something from the set menu (presented by the waitress on a huge blackboard) when translated from French was 3 meats, no idea what these 3 meats were. Also a brown spice/herb was sprinkled all over it, again, no idea. But it was really very tasty and well worth having. Desert was gorgeous, from a choice of very tempting cakes. The cafe/restaurant itself was decorated in a modern and lively style with North African feel. Very friendly staff if a little perplexed by our dodgy French. Background music was at the right level. Good atmosphere. Eat here, I recommend it. Be careful though it is closed Sundays. Leave a Comment Theme: FrenchPrice: US$21-30 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: 11 Rue Baronie

I stumbled on this place one evening in December on 1 of the main drags in central Toulouse. They do what you would expect a juice bar to do plus also selling a choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails. It was open pretty late for a juice bar (I was there around 10 pm) and although I wasn't hungry they also seem to do a food menu that seemed geared towards healthy eating from what I could see from a quick look at the menu. The place is modern and clean and has a pleasantly relaxed atmosphere.

The restaurant is a lille wonder, a miniature copy of the bigger Sacha, located elsewhere in the city. The ochre walls give an impression of light and space and the whole thing is very classy. I was there was breakfast and was served quite quickly. the food was well-presented. Warning: It can be quite busy at other moments of the day and the service can be very long.
I took a hot chocolate with cream and a deli. You have a selection of patisseries and wafles, as well as pizzas and savoury pies. The cook was trained at Lenotre, so you can expect quality food. my best area for eating in Toulouse, near pl Victor Hugo, there is a nice marché, market, victor hugo, inside you have 5 restaurants to choose from all good over the years first floor Le Bon Graillon L'Imperiale Le Magret Chez Attila Le Louchébem very popular with the local, lunch be there a few minutes before noon or wait for a table::) menus from 14 euros or 18 euros with a garafe of house wine. open for lunch only.
many local dishes from foie gras to cassoulet, but try to be there the first week of each month at the Louchébem ,they serve a cassoulet with feves, the ancestors of the white beans (haricots) use for the cassoulet dish.
