I am not a steak fan, and prefer fish or shellfish. Not knowing exactly what this restaurant served but I/we could not resist trying it because of the line of people waiting each evening to get in. What a neat suprise.
I loved the steak, even the fries, so much, that when in Toulouse next spring to catch a flight home, I have planned to dine there again. Also try the deserts, my guy, had to try one, check out the pics before and during and after eating the desert.
"L'Entrecôte" is the restaurant of a single dish. The waitress does not ask you what you want to eat but if you want the meat "rare" or "medium rare". Don't ask for "well done" this is an offence for the beef.
The meat is good and cut in small strips in a flavourful sauce of butter and aromatic herbs. Plentiful quantity of small size French fries (not bad in taste but not up to the genuine Belgian fries).
Nice terrace. Efficient service.
At 9 pm there was a queue outside what proves the success of the formula at 16€ with salad.
