In 2002 a traveller from Montreal wrote here about his bad experience with a flight from Brussels to Toulouse.
Well, Sabena does not exist anymore. A few years ago the Sabena merged with Swissair and that group went bankrupt!
A new company was founded: SN Brussels Airlines flying mainly on European destinations and some African. There are 2 daily flights Brussels-Toulouse.
On Toulouse Brussels Airlines flies on AvroRJ100 or AvroRJ85 which, although not brand new models are, in my opinion rather comfortable, because they are relatively small (97 or 82 passengers) planes with 2 + 3 row seats and 4 reactors what allows take off on short strips. The distance between the seats in economic class is normal i.e. comfortable in comparison with charters and low cost companies. Furthermore SNBA serves food and drinks (even wine), daily papers, free also in the economic class. Since 2007 Brussels Airlines has unfortunately given up this free restauration in economic class.
Fares are very competitive when booking 2-3 months in advance.
I paid for my to & return flight 113 € all inclusive. The plane was well on time, the service was very good on both flights. In 2008 prices have increased.
You can find a low cost Ryanair flight at about 90 € all inclusive (in 2006) between Brussels-Charleroi and Carcassone, But the airport of Charleroi is 40 km south from Brussels and Carcassone is at 90 km from Toulouse. If Ryanair is a low cost company it is also a true no service company.
Their Boeings 737 are new but the distance between rows is that of charters. OK if you are less than 1.60m height. Theme: Airplane

- C'est l'intersection des deux plus grandes artères de la ville.
- C'est aussi une station de taxis.
Tout cela en fait un point tres animé, à quelques centaines de mètres de la Garonne, et au coeur du centre historique de la ville...
A l'époque de Tolosa la romaine, c'est ici qu'étaient le Temple de Diane et le Forum.
The Esquirol place is (and was always) a central point for the public transportation in the city:
- It is a big station of subway,
- It is the point of passage of numerous lines of urban buses
- It is the intersection of the two bigger arteries of the city.
- It is also a station of taxicabs.
All it makes a very animate point, to a few hundreds of meters of the Garonne, of it and to the heart of the historic center of the city...
At the time of Tolosa the Roman, it is here that was the Temple of Diane and the Forum.

In 1998, of Basso-Cambo in Jolimont, in fifteen stations and 10km, a few 126 000 travelers (on average) took every day the subway.
After soon 6 years of an irrefutable success, the network subway + bus gave the proof of its efficiency. Today, the second stage of the process is under launching. Let's recall that this one understands two elements.
The realization of the B line on close to 16km according to a north - south axis, between Borderouge and Ramonville-St.-Agne, either about twenty stations, of which a station of correspondence with the line TO (Jean - Jaures station).
The setting in service of the B line is planned for 2007.
The extension of the line TO on 2,5km until beyond the peripheral is (Gramont-Balma), either 3 supplementary stations: The Roseraie, The Argoulets (park of parking of 500 to 650 places, terminus of bus) and Gramont (terminal station, with a vast parking lot of 1 000 places and a terminus of bus for the correspondences).
